The Solution

I don’t know about you, but when I go to the gym to workout I want to put my music on and escape from my surroundings.  Unfortunately, there can be many distractions at the recreation center that interrupt my concentration.  So when I walked into the workout area one day, I was happy to see the implementation of portable walls around certain areas of the gym.  As pictured, the portable wall creates a visual barrier between the free weight area elliptical machines.  The wall also absorbs the clinking from the weights and conversations that often occur in that area.  I can now exercise freely on the treadmill without thinking about my surroundings.  This environment leads to a more productive workout.
