The Solution

As with most of our customers, the leaders at Centerpoint Church needed to quickly adapt their space. The goal was to have kids’ ministry space while still allowing other groups to use the space as well. By utilizing a portable wall, these church leaders were able to have the best of both worlds in one place. This Screenflex Standard Divider provides Centerpoint with the options to adapt their facility as they wish.

As shown, two Standard Dividers are connecting together to create a temporary wall in the middle of the room. The Multi-Unit Connector attaches the partitions for extra sturdiness. This church chose to create an”L” shape to partially surround their storage/meeting area. This shape helps give the illusion of a room within a room. Then, the kids’ ministry space remains on the outside of it. While not entirely soundproof, the dividers have a honeycomb core that does absorb excess echoes and other sounds to limit distractions. This feature allows a noisy kids group on one side of the partition while others can meet on the opposite side simultaneously.
