Section off Clinic Space From Public
Market: Healthcare
The Location
COVID-19 Clinic- Layton, UT
The Challenge
Block off COVID-19 clinic storage from public view
The Solution
In a clinical setting, there always needs to be a place for patient paperwork and other files. Depending on the size of the facility, these storage spaces can even take up an entire room if big enough. To deter people from entering this part of the clinic space, you may need to section it off with barriers. In the case of this Covid clinic in Layton, UT, they used Screenflex Portable Room Dividers in between storage and the public coming into the facility.
The Screenflex Standard Dividers are used in these photos to block off the public view. These particular screens are 8 ft tall, taller than the average person. This clinic added an option to their panels: a swing-style door in the middle of the two connecting dividers. This door allows people to enter and leave the space safely without disrupting the position of the partition. Since the divider also locks in place because of the locking casters, it functions as a temporary wall. However, if they ever don’t want to section off their clinic space from time to time, the panels fold into a compact 2ft by 3ft storage space. In general, these dividers create an excellent privacy barrier for any clinic.
