Room dividers can provide a variety of uses in a school, but the space that offers the most versatility is the gymnasium or multipurpose room. Henderson First United Methodist Church has school during the week for various age groups that typically use the gym simultaneously. The leaders at this school wanted to create separation between the younger and older age levels so they wouldn’t interfere with one another. By reaching out to Screenflex, these educators were able to find the perfect products for their needs.

Hendersonville UMC uses Screenflex Standard Room Dividers for their gymnasium space. These partitions fold accordion-style to create a variety of shapes and sizes. This feature allows flexibility in how to shape the dividers and, ultimately, the new room. While the main objective of the room dividers is to create separation of the school’s age levels, they also use one as a barrier to protect the piano in the corner. Our contact at the school also mentioned that, as a bonus, teachers can display student artwork and other signage on the dividers for fairs or special events.
