The vinyl material we use as a divider covering has a rigid surface and is more water-resistant than the Screenflex fabric. This covering can be gently wiped down with a cleaning solvent and also has a built-in antimicrobial agent for extra sanitation. Our vinyl room dividers have a 3/4 inch closed cell honeycomb core that helps absorb excess echoes. These partitions are portable, easy to clean, and fold accordion-style to create a variety of shapes. Using your divider is simple—Roll your screen to the desired location in your facility, configure it to the design you want, and lock the self-leveling end casters in place. Each 3/4-inch-thick panel is made of a closed-cell honeycomb core for maximum sound absorption. The panel is then covered in 76% recycled fabric to reduce noise by up to 55%. A steel frame surrounds the entire panel for added strength.

A set of chrome plated Multi-Unit Connectors installed on the end frames of Screenflex Room Dividers allow you to customize the length of your room divider. A simple turn of the latch joins dividers together to form the length you desire.

What is the difference between vinyl and fabric room divider coverings?

Our vinyl room dividers have a harder surface, making them easier to sanitize by simply wiping them down with a cleaning solution. The vinyl dividers also have a built-in antimicrobial agent on them for extra cleanliness.

Our fabric room dividers have a softer covering that is better suited for pinning items to them and absorbing more sound.

Do all of your products have vinyl covering options?

Most of our fabric-covered freestanding partitions can substitute vinyl instead for a small upcharge. However, in the cases when displaying signage is the goal, fabric-covered Screenflex products are the better choice.

How can I clean my vinyl room divider?

Clean any dirt or stains by rubbing lightly with a mild soap, detergent, or non-abrasive cleanser using a moistened cloth, sponge, or stiff nylon brush. Towel dry.

Is vinyl different than plastic?

Vinyl material is a form of plastic.

We purchased a 24' long by 8' high divider for my orthodontic practice to help with Covid-19. Its been great and easy to use. You have a lot of color choices and we selected the vinyl material for easy cleanability. I hope we won't have to use it forever because that means we are still dealing with Covid-19, but it has been a very good purchase. No regrets. It's great to subdivide a larger space for greater infection control in my orthodontic practice.

The room divider is great for dividing a classroom into two smaller rooms for small group work. The wheels are perfect for pulling the divider out as needed.  The Screenflex team is quick to help and get any problems resolved. The top benefit of Screenflex is dividing a room in two easily. The wheeled divider is great for when we want to quickly transition between one larger space and two smaller spaces.

Purchasing our Screenflex dividers was such an easy process. I found Screenflex online searching for dividers, contacted them for information and I was provided with great service. My sales representative walked me through the process from ordering to delivery. Even the company that delivered the dividers did a great job. When I received the dividers the packing was fantastic and everything looks great. We are using the dividers for our School-Age Child Care Program. Screenflex provides an easy way to create separations for groups in order to meet the new mandate requirements due to the Covid-19 response. We should have purchased these long ago. The room dividers are easy to use and lock into storage position easily. We are creating a smaller temporary dedicated space in a larger area.
