The vinyl material we use as a divider covering has a rigid surface and is more water-resistant than the Screenflex fabric. This covering can be gently wiped down with a cleaning solvent and also has a built-in antimicrobial agent for extra sanitation. Our vinyl room dividers have a 3/4 inch closed cell honeycomb core that helps absorb excess echoes. These partitions are portable, easy to clean, and fold accordion-style to create a variety of shapes. Using your divider is simple—Roll your screen to the desired location in your facility, configure it to the design you want, and lock the self-leveling end casters in place. Each 3/4-inch-thick panel is made of a closed-cell honeycomb core for maximum sound absorption. The panel is then covered in 76% recycled fabric to reduce noise by up to 55%. A steel frame surrounds the entire panel for added strength.

A set of chrome plated Multi-Unit Connectors installed on the end frames of Screenflex Room Dividers allow you to customize the length of your room divider. A simple turn of the latch joins dividers together to form the length you desire.

What is the difference between vinyl and fabric room divider coverings?

Our vinyl room dividers have a harder surface, making them easier to sanitize by simply wiping them down with a cleaning solution. The vinyl dividers also have a built-in antimicrobial agent on them for extra cleanliness.

Our fabric room dividers have a softer covering that is better suited for pinning items to them and absorbing more sound.

Do all of your products have vinyl covering options?

Most of our fabric-covered freestanding partitions can substitute vinyl instead for a small upcharge. However, in the cases when displaying signage is the goal, fabric-covered Screenflex products are the better choice.

How can I clean my vinyl room divider?

Clean any dirt or stains by rubbing lightly with a mild soap, detergent, or non-abrasive cleanser using a moistened cloth, sponge, or stiff nylon brush. Towel dry.

Is vinyl different than plastic?

Vinyl material is a form of plastic.

The room dividers are just want we wanted. We are using them to create two separate office areas in a large home office in our garage. We are using our garage as an office space and there are two of us working here. Prior to having the room dividers, I felt like I was apart every conversation my co-worker was having. Now with the room dividers, I feel like I have my own space and the noise level is less then when we were in actual cubicles in the office. They dividers have definitely cut down on the noise and are working just was we expected!  It was a simple easy process to buy and Amy was very knowledgable, helpful and a delight to work with. The top benefits are privacy and noise reductions. In addition they are very classy in appearance. Now when I have a video conference people, they think I am in a high end office instead of a garage.

The dividers work well to separate our game spaces and best of all help reduce the noise from the different groups.  We are making two rooms out of a large area for role-playing games. The partitions give us privacy now in this open space. They are easily decorated and sound absorbing. We had an excellent buying experience.

The dividers are great and easy to move. It's a wall that goes anywhere. We are making separate production areas that require visual privacy from various customers in one location. Screenflex gives us total flexibility. It used to take us 4-8 hours to establish a secure environment and (2) days notice. Now with Screenflex, we can now secure an area with an hours notice. Our buying experience was great! Very informative, knowledgeable all the way to delivery!

The previous two dividers we purchased are great. We are using the partitions in our room to seclude an autistic child for learning and a quiet space. We will use them in the library to work individually with students. They give us flexibility and a professional appearance.
