The vinyl material we use as a divider covering has a rigid surface and is more water-resistant than the Screenflex fabric. This covering can be gently wiped down with a cleaning solvent and also has a built-in antimicrobial agent for extra sanitation. Our vinyl room dividers have a 3/4 inch closed cell honeycomb core that helps absorb excess echoes. These partitions are portable, easy to clean, and fold accordion-style to create a variety of shapes. Using your divider is simple—Roll your screen to the desired location in your facility, configure it to the design you want, and lock the self-leveling end casters in place. Each 3/4-inch-thick panel is made of a closed-cell honeycomb core for maximum sound absorption. The panel is then covered in 76% recycled fabric to reduce noise by up to 55%. A steel frame surrounds the entire panel for added strength.

A set of chrome plated Multi-Unit Connectors installed on the end frames of Screenflex Room Dividers allow you to customize the length of your room divider. A simple turn of the latch joins dividers together to form the length you desire.

What is the difference between vinyl and fabric room divider coverings?

Our vinyl room dividers have a harder surface, making them easier to sanitize by simply wiping them down with a cleaning solution. The vinyl dividers also have a built-in antimicrobial agent on them for extra cleanliness.

Our fabric room dividers have a softer covering that is better suited for pinning items to them and absorbing more sound.

Do all of your products have vinyl covering options?

Most of our fabric-covered freestanding partitions can substitute vinyl instead for a small upcharge. However, in the cases when displaying signage is the goal, fabric-covered Screenflex products are the better choice.

How can I clean my vinyl room divider?

Clean any dirt or stains by rubbing lightly with a mild soap, detergent, or non-abrasive cleanser using a moistened cloth, sponge, or stiff nylon brush. Towel dry.

Is vinyl different than plastic?

Vinyl material is a form of plastic.

We are utilizing the divider to break one large classroom into two, with a small opening area at the end to go from space to space. The dividers are great. They are meeting our needs to move around the room as needed for projects and classes in our fellowship hall space. We are using them for display dividers for an outside program and to hide necessary storage in our fellowship hall. We like the movability. The ability to hang classroom materials on the dividers and also to use them as backdrops in various parts of the room and building. We like the ability to hide necessary storage in our room. Buying was easy, Kimberly, our rep, was patient and answered our questions timely and completely. We had questions over sizing and pricing, as well as shipping options. When she was out of the office, another rep jumped in and answered my questions quickly via email.

We are a small school serving grades 4th - 8th. We have several open-concept rooms in our school. These dividers come in handy for splitting up our spaces visually and they also help with noise. We are very pleased with this product and would highly recommend. We have three! We use them daily to split up classrooms. We also hang student work on them. Buying was easy and efficient.

The room dividers appear to be excellent quality. With the wheels it makes it easy to move them around the school. We foresee many different uses for them. They are used as a backdrop for events to hide stacks of chairs in the background. They are also used to divide spaces for events like our book fair. We like the versatility! The dividers themselves are versatile in use, especially since we got 3 of them. The dividers provide versatility in our spaces. Our purchasing experience was great! Melissa was very helpful and easy to work with.
