The vinyl material we use as a divider covering has a rigid surface and is more water-resistant than the Screenflex fabric. This covering can be gently wiped down with a cleaning solvent and also has a built-in antimicrobial agent for extra sanitation. Our vinyl room dividers have a 3/4 inch closed cell honeycomb core that helps absorb excess echoes. These partitions are portable, easy to clean, and fold accordion-style to create a variety of shapes. Using your divider is simple—Roll your screen to the desired location in your facility, configure it to the design you want, and lock the self-leveling end casters in place. Each 3/4-inch-thick panel is made of a closed-cell honeycomb core for maximum sound absorption. The panel is then covered in 76% recycled fabric to reduce noise by up to 55%. A steel frame surrounds the entire panel for added strength.

What is the difference between vinyl and fabric room divider coverings?

Our vinyl room dividers have a harder surface, making them easier to sanitize by simply wiping them down with a cleaning solution. The vinyl dividers also have a built-in antimicrobial agent on them for extra cleanliness.

Our fabric room dividers have a softer covering that is better suited for pinning items to them and absorbing more sound.

Do all of your products have vinyl covering options?

Most of our fabric-covered freestanding partitions can substitute vinyl instead for a small upcharge. However, in the cases when displaying signage is the goal, fabric-covered Screenflex products are the better choice.

How can I clean my vinyl room divider?

Clean any dirt or stains by rubbing lightly with a mild soap, detergent, or non-abrasive cleanser using a moistened cloth, sponge, or stiff nylon brush. Towel dry.

Is vinyl different than plastic?

Vinyl material is a form of plastic.

We are very pleased with our portable Screenflex Dividers. They are easy to roll out, set up, and put away. We are dividing our gym for a smaller movement class. The dividers can also be used as a bulletin board or back drop. Basically using them for dividing a large space into two smaller spaces. Our buying experience was very user friendly. Easy access to talk personally with someone.

Dividers work as needed. I visited another site and saw how Screenflex was used in their facility. I copied the information off the structure and ordered walling for myself. The purchasing experience was relatively simple. Select the desired wall and attachments, with the help of a consultant, and request a quote. The Screenflex wall is utilized in our facility to conceal any classified or confidential work from being viewed by uncleared entities (i.e. contractors, custodians, or uncleared personnel).

We were looking for an affordable solution to increasing our gallery space for an upcoming exhibition, and this is the perfect product! Everyone was easy to work with and very flexible in my many changes of layouts before we landed on the one that works the best. The dividers shipped quickly and it is a quality product! The Screenflex Dividers added an additional 200 linear feet of hanging space in our small gallery with the configuration that we were able to come up with!

We are dividing a large room into Sunday School classrooms. The dividers are excellent in quality and workmanship. The dividers are easy to move and set up. They provide good privacy and sound control. We previously ordered from you before.  Our purchasing experience was Fantastic - Kim was very knowledgeable and helpful!

The dividers are easy to use and light weight. They help with sound reduction but definitely not soundproof.  The dividers allows us to make a semi private classroom in our fellowship hall. They are easy to set up and take down. We needed Screenflex because of lack of classroom space.
