Screenflex Vinyl Room Dividers Offer Privacy and an Easy-to-Clean Surface

The vinyl material we use as a divider covering has a rigid surface and is more water-resistant than the Screenflex fabric. This covering can be gently wiped down with a cleaning solvent and also has a built-in antimicrobial agent for extra sanitation. Our vinyl room dividers have a 3/4 inch closed cell honeycomb core that helps absorb excess echoes. These partitions are portable, easy to clean, and fold accordion-style to create a variety of shapes. Using your divider is simple—Roll your screen to the desired location in your facility, configure it to the design you want, and lock the self-leveling end casters in place. Each 3/4-inch-thick panel is made of a closed-cell honeycomb core for maximum sound absorption. The panel is then covered in 76% recycled fabric to reduce noise by up to 55%. A steel frame surrounds the entire panel for added strength.

What is the difference between vinyl and fabric room divider coverings?

Our vinyl room dividers have a harder surface, making them easier to sanitize by simply wiping them down with a cleaning solution. The vinyl dividers also have a built-in antimicrobial agent on them for extra cleanliness.

Our fabric room dividers have a softer covering that is better suited for pinning items to them and absorbing more sound.

Do all of your products have vinyl covering options?

Most of our fabric-covered freestanding partitions can substitute vinyl instead for a small upcharge. However, in the cases when displaying signage is the goal, fabric-covered Screenflex products are the better choice.

How can I clean my vinyl room divider?

Clean any dirt or stains by rubbing lightly with a mild soap, detergent, or non-abrasive cleanser using a moistened cloth, sponge, or stiff nylon brush. Towel dry.

Is vinyl different than plastic?

Vinyl material is a form of plastic.

These dividers are great to divide a large space. We are dividing a large room into smaller classrooms for Sunday School and to help with acoustics in the large group service. They make the usage of the space very flexible. They also have acoustical benefits and cut down on echo and noise from different parts of the room. The dividers also help facilitate better singing by a large group in a space with concrete walls as people can hear each other more clearly. We like that they can additionally block the sun from our large windows. Our Salesperson, Lourdes is amazing! She was knowledgeable, patient, efficient and helpful.

So far from using we can already can tell a big difference in the sound absorption for a classroom converted to a recording studio. We are a previous customer and are using the dividers as make shift studio booth to record audio and video for online viewing. The dividers help absorb the sound and echo in a classroom that we temporary converted to a recording studio. Plus, we have the ability to use the dividers to sub-divide a room for make-shift classes and/or use a barrier. Purchasing was great.

We love our new dividers! They are easy to move and unfold, and best of all, they fold up into a small square. We haven't attached anything yet, but it appears to be a good quality fabric. We found Screenflex online. We are using the dividers for Art Show Display, Event Display, and to partition for special events. We like the ease of movement, the compact size when folded down, and the ease in opening/using. We also appreciate that it is well designed to prevent tipping. The rep was super helpful. She helped me decide on the correct size and fabric for our space/purposes. Shipping was fast and on-time! I would recommend this product if another of our schools has the need. It's great to be used as a display board for our special events and as a space divider.
